November 28, 2012 A Note To Our Valued CustomersIn light of recent reports related to the FDA's ongoing investigation of Sunland, Inc., we'd like to clarify some important details: All Naturally More butters currently on shelves in stores with an expiration date of October 2013 or later are new products not affected by the product recall and are safe. All Naturally More products have switched manufacturing locations and our nut butters currently on shelves in stores are not manufactured by Sunland, Inc. For more information on the original recall, please see the posting below.October 8,2012 Recall Update Please note Naturally More has voluntarily expanded the product recall to all Naturally More products with a date of May 2013 or ealier. Our customers’ safety is our number one priority so we want all products to be returned to the store from which it was purchased for reimbursement. Naturally More Announces Voluntary Recall of Peanut Butters After Manufacturing Facility Investigation Company Preemptively Removes Products from Shelves to Eliminate Any Potential Health Risk for Consumers Naturally More Inc. today announced a voluntary recall of its Naturally More Butters products due to a potential contamination issue discovered in another brand’s product produced at the same manufacturing facility. All Naturally More products which contain a date on the lid of May 1, 2013 or later are affected by the recall. The butters are produced in a facility that may have been exposed to the Salmonella virus. There are currently no reported cases of any illnesses associated with Naturally More. The FDA is currently conducting a thorough review of the manufacturing facility and will announce their findings shortly. Out of concern for their consumers, Naturally More is recalling all products immediately. This includes Naturally More Peanut Butter, Naturally More Crunchy, Naturally More Almond Butter, Organic Naturally More Peanut Butter, and Naturally More Power Butter. “There is nothing more important to us than the health and well-being of our consumers and the families that enjoy our products every day,” said Tim Petro, CEO of Naturally More, Inc. “While we have had no reports of any illnesses, we are working with the FDA, CDC, and State Health officials to investigate the causes of illnesses linked to products produced at our manufacturer. If a consumer purchased Naturally More products between May 1, 2012 and September 24, 2012, we urge you not to eat them.
